Thing 11: Library Thing
This is a neat site. I added some favorite and recent books to my account.
I don't think I'll use it much (again, that 'time' thing), since I already have huge waiting lists of books I want to read.
Might be good for a novel idea once in a while though...

Thing 10 - Image Generators
Amazing the variety of generators out there. I did have fun looking through some of the many choices. The one I happened to post (Stephanie DID say be tasteful) is from www.redkid.net
Thing 9-Finding Feeds - other than at the Tractor Supply Store
I liked the Bloglines search and the Syndic8 best. The Syndic8 because it had a listing of favorites of folks, which was kind of fun to explore. The bloglines search I found easy to use and didn't have alot of ads. Maybe if I give the others more time, it'll change... Oh, I also did like the Topix.net for newsfeeds.
Now, I just need to retire and my children grow up - then I'll have the time and resources to stay well informed!

thing 8
RSS feeds (and the bloglines type accounts) are nice time savers by having new 'stuff' from different places all in one place.
In reality, I don't have the time to keep up with them, though.
Here's my bloglines account: http://www.bloglines.com/public/cwoodlov

technology thing 7
what to say? technology is your friend? how does one measure progress? is it for the greater good? who determines the 'greater good'? does technology encourage or hinder the building of better customer service methodologies/relationships/community? does it matter?
i do enjoy new technologies, though it takes awhile since learning technology does take time. that's why the support for us doing this learning 2.0 thing is nice, however, i still find myself rushing through these 'things' to get back to 'real' work.
